Liverpool Transfer Updates:

The targeted players who Brendan Rodgers have in his list for building a competent and title challenging squad for the coming season ahead gained some spotlight this week as well. The names linked with Liverpool FC, Loic Remy, Dejan Lovren, Divock Origi, Karim Benzema, Marco Reus. Among the linked names Dejan Lovren completed a successful transfer from his former Club Southampton around the fee of £20 million making himself a record himself in the LFC history as the most expensive defender.

The other player linked with Liverpool FC Loic Remy could not make a successful  transfer  as the reports are suggesting that he could not make a successful transfer because of his failure in the medicals. The deal with the QPR striker was worth around £8.5 million. Borussia Dortmund have stated that Marco Reus is not for sale though the german have been showing interests to play for the Reds. With facing the challenges from the new arrivals, Karim Benzema have a tough task ahead to establish himself in the team and he has discouraged the links with the Reds stating that Liverpool FC was not a big club.

Finally, the reds made a narrow gap victory on Olympiacos, in the International Champions Cup with a 1- 0 margin. Raheem Sterling’s one and only goal in the 5th minutes secured the victory for the Reds. With this narrow victory the attacking and fierce game Liverpool played last season were questioned ?? Have Liverpool lost their playing style ? or trying to adjust with the new members in the squad composing itself for what it was known.

Dejan Lovren will be flying to US to join the tour with the squads who are already their where they will next be facing Manchester City and AC Milan in the International Champions Cup.
